Today's OneWord is 'Promise'
Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise His holy name. We praise You and forget not Your benefits-who forgive all our sins and heal all the diseases, who redeem our life from the pit and crown us with love and compassion. Father, we praise You for delivering us from the hands of our enemies that we might live before You in righteousness and holiness. May we praise You forever and ever.
You, O' God, are the Greatness, the Power, the Glory, the Victory, and the Majesty. We exalt You as the One who is over all things. Wealth and honor comes from You.
Our Father, we are forever grateful for Your love, kindness, and new mercies today. We thank You. We honor You just because of who You are. Father fill our heart with promises of Your love so that our heart is the wellspring of life. Father, we desire to walk in Your truth and keep our heart pure. We ask guardianship over our heart from garbage that can creep in and keep our mind from focusing on Your promises. When the trails come, and You know they will, help us to stand boldly, firmly, and strong with our focus on You, and Your promises.
Father, Your Word says, "I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden Your Word in my heart that I might not sin against You" (Ps 119:9-11) Therefore, we ask You to bind the Word on our heart and remove any unhealthy cells, take authority over our imperfect memories, close down evilness from our eyes, hold back ungodly things in our ears, bring to end ill spoken words with our tongue, close the idleness of our hands, eliminate the crooked path of our feet, and anything that is distracting us from the focus on Your Marvelous Power and Promises.
You said in Your Word, "The Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edge sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joint, and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart" (Heb 4:12). Father because You see our innermost thoughts and know all our secrets. Help us to live holy and pure before You. Gracious God, when we look at our challenges, help us to look to Your promises in the Word and rejoice to bring You the glory.
We love You and believe Your promises. Amen.
