Today's OneWord is "Speak"

 

El Shadday, God Almighty, we come to the throne room of Trust this morning.

 

Father, most Gracious God, the King of Kings, the Lord or Lords, the Great I AM, our Provider, Magnificent One, the Keeper of our souls, and the Love of our lives, we honor and adore You this morning. We praise Your holy name. We know there is no God greater.  As we enter this moment of trust with You this morning, we say thank You. Thank You for Your Love and favor for this day. Thank you for watching over us last night and letting us live to see this moment.  We are thankful that "This is the day the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it" (Psalms 118:24).

 

"But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed, therefore I spoke," we also believe, therefore we also speak" (2 Cor 4:13). We pray not to be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, presenting our requests to You. We believe and trust that the peace of You, which transcends all understanding, will guard our heart and mind in Christ Jesus. (Phil 4:6-7).

 

The Bible says, "Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal" (2 Cor 4:16-18)

You Jehovah Shammah, (Lord is There), said, "You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it" (Jeremiah 1:12).  The Word also says, "He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20). Therefore God, we trust you because Romans 4:21 says, "and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform." We believe because Jesus tells us in Matthew 24:35, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away."

While we are in this throne room of trust Father would you grant us the power, assurance, and strategies to believe Ezekiel 12:25, "For I the Lord will speak, and whatever word I speak will be performed. It will no longer be delayed, for in your days, I will speak the word and perform it," declares the Lord God."  Father let our faith be as strong as the centurion who said, "Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed" (Matthew 8:8).

As we continue to bow before You Father would you bestow upon us "The Joy of You is our strength" this morning! And let us be "Strong in You and in Your mighty power".  We pray that Your will be done.

Hallelujah Gracious God, we seal this prayer with Numbers 23:19-21, "God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? "Behold, I have received a command to bless; When He has blessed, then I cannot revoke it." So we pray knowing that if we speak Your Word, we can change things in our lives. We are going to let the Word do the work for us.

In the Precious name of Jesus, we trust You and seal this prayer with the blood of Jesus.  Amen!
