Today's OneWord is "Faith"

 

Spirit of the Living God, Ruach Qodesh, (God's Spirit), our Counselor, Helper, and Advocate, we come to the throne room of Power this morning. You are our Lord, and we have nothing good besides You. "Lord, You are our portion and our cup of blessing. You hold our future, and we have a beautiful inheritance" (Ps. 16:5-6).

 

Lord, hear our just cause, pay attention to our cry, and listen to our prayer. We call on You, God, because You will answer us according to Psalm 17:1,6. Father, You will not abandon us nor forsake us. You reveal the path of life to us. We know that in Your presence there is abundant joy.  Heavenly Father, You are our Lord and our present help. Your Word says, "That My people will never again be put to shame. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; 
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions" (Joel 2:27-28).

Father, we pray according to Colossians 1:9-12, "We ask You to give us wise minds and spirits attuned to Your will, and so acquire a thorough understanding of the ways in which You work. We pray that we'll live well for You, Master, making You proud of us as we work hard in Your orchard. As we learn more and more how You work, we will learn how to do Your work. We pray that we'll have the strength to stick it out over the long haul—not the grim strength of gritting our teeth but the glory-strength You give. It is strength that endures the unendurable and spills over into joy, thanking You, Father, who makes us strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful that You have for us".

 

God, we thank You that You filled our bellies with what You have in store for us. Our children are satisfied and will leave surplus to their children. We are sure of this that He who started a good work in us will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Though we are feeble, weak, and limited, we are not helpless because we belong to a God of unthinkable power. God will You calm our fear and anxiety. You know all that is happening in our lives at this very moment. Help us to rest in Your grace, knowledge, and faith that You are with us.

 

God teach us to hold on to Your promises You have give us even when our faith gets questionable. Help us to remember that You own all the provisions that we need and that You have told us to come to You and request Your blessings upon our lives. Father, we will not let you go unless You bless us. We are determined to seek Your blessings for us. We will praise You for Your abundant blessings of faith that You have bestowed upon us.

 

Father, we are thankful that You did not give us a spirit of fearfulness, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Your unimaginable power has given us everything we need to walk by faith and not by sight.  Allow us to activate our faith by calling on the name of Jesus. Grant us the authority to believe and expect the impossible. Father, we pray and step out in faith and receive Your promises today.

 

In the name of Jesus, we pray Amen!
