Today's OneWord is "Protected"
Chivalrous Father, we come to the throne room of Protection this morning.
You are the God who owns the universe. We come to You our God Most High for safety. We come to sit and dwell in the secret place of Your presence. We know when we come to You we will be protected. So we abide under Your protective shadows because You are the Almighty God who is more than enough.
Gentle God, You are our God and we trust you. You are our protection and refuge. We know that because Your mercies are new every morning You save us from traps and deadly diseases.
You cover us with Your wings so that we can hide in Your peace and security. Father, we are not afraid of the unseen terror by night, the present dangers by day, or the sickness that strikes at noon. Gracious Father, we will not forget the dangers that try to threaten us. A thousand may fall at our side, and ten thousand may die around us, but the dangers will not come near us because we make You, O Most High God, our protective refuge.
Praise to You this morning for giving us strength. It is You who we give praise and honor. We thank You for Your grace and praise You for Your love this morning. Father, teach us that You do nothing by accident. Allow us to know that You put us here for a reason and You know each hair on our heads. You are our Love and our Present help. Thank You for dispatching our angels to allow us to know that nothing bad will happen to us, because You are watching wherever we go. Your commanded angels are in charge to guard us in our ways, to protect us with their hands, and keep us from falling. We are protected by You that we can walk in the enemy's camp and take back everything that belongs to us. We have the strength and protection to walk on lions and cobras since the evil threats are under our feet.
You said in your Word that whoever loves You, You will rescue. You also said because we know You, You will protect us from danger. Your Word says You will be with us in times of trouble and distress. When we call upon You for help, You will answer us and be with us. Your Word also says You will protect our honor and us. You will give us long life and satisfy us with Your Victory.
Therefore Father, as You pass out blessings this morning, we ask You Lord to stop by each one of our houses and met our needs. We ask that You do it for such a time as "Now". Heavenly Father, we know You are an all-powerful and all- knowing God. Jesus said, "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it will be done for you" (John 15:7).
With this prayer, we are standing in the need of a blessing. We would not have made it, if it were not for You Lord. We will not complain. Although, we may be hurting, we may have fallen down, but we are getting back up. We do not care what it looks like; we are trusting in You Lord. Therefore, Father turns Your ear to hear us and answer us this morning. We know You are passing out blessings please do not do it without us.
In the Mighty name of Jesus, we declare and decree we are protected. Amen!
