Today's OneWord is "Help"

 

Alpha and Omega, Bright and Morning Star, Consuming Fire, Light of the World, and Jehovah Tsur, (Lord my Rock), we come to the throne room of Praise this morning.

 

Our hope is in You, Lord our God. You are the God that keeps truth forever. You executed justice for the oppressed. You give food to the hungry, and freedom to the prisoners. You open the eyes of the blind, and raised those who are bowed down. You give hope to the widows and relieve the pain from the fatherless. Praise the Lord! Proverbs 16:20 tell us, "Whoever trust in the Lord, happy is he."

 

Father, we will praise You from the bottom of our souls. We will praise You with all our life. Father, we will not put our trust in those who cannot help us. We know we are blessed because we trust in You. You remain faithful forever. You watch over our life and confuse the way of the wicked. Hallelujah! Lord, Your love is everlasting and endures forever. Father, we know that praising You is exciting and fulfilling. You heal the broken hearted and bind up the wounds of the hurting. We give thanks to You with singing and praising.

 

Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, O our souls! While we live we will praise the Lord. Most gracious God, You are Supreme and Creator of everything.  You know life in general can wear us out. Sometimes, life with our children and our families can be especially tiring. Therefore, Father we need You today. We need Your help. We know Father that salvation does not exempt us from life so we ask You to encourage us. Most importantly help us to prioritize and find intimate time with You. 

 

Therefore Father, we ask You to arm us with strength. Father will You guide us and encourage us. Sometimes, we get so caught up in the day-to-day activities; that we may forget to do it ourselves.  We are commanding our day to operate according to Your plans and purpose. Father grants us the knowledge that we can do all things because it is You who gives us the strength to stand. We want to enjoy the blessings in life. The Bible says, "As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in Him, For who is God besides the Lord. It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; He enables me to stand on the heights. The Lord lives! Praise be to my Rock" (Psalms 18:30, 32-33, 46). We declare that we know that the Joy of the Lord is our strength.

 

"Now, Lord God, keep the promise forever that You made about my family and me Your servant. Do what You have said. Your name will be honored always and people will say, 'The Lord, All-Powerful is God over Israel!' And the family of your servant will continue before You. Lord, All-Powerful, the God of Israel, you have said to me, "I will make your family great.' So I, your servant am brave enough to pray to You. God, you are God and Your words are true. And You have promised these good thing to me Your servant. Please bless my family. Let it continue before You always. Lord God, You have said so. With Your blessing let my family always be blessed" (2 Sam 25-29). We speak Your words back to You with faith and believe it will happen.

 

Now, Father let Your glory fill our bodies so that when someone passes us they will see Your love glowing, peace that passes understanding, and we are walking according to Your plans. 

 

We decree and declare that You hear our praises to You! We acknowledge You in our hearts in Jesus' Magnificent name. We thank You, Lord, our God and seal this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
