Bondages are a state of being a "Slave" to a "Master". The bondage occurs psychologically, emotionally, or physically by permitting a person to be in some form of restraint or held hostage. Bondages come in all type of forms, which consents us to wear many masks or show many different faces. Bondages are a trick of the enemy to keep us from reaching our full potential.
God wants us to look at every area of our lives and begin to pull off the layers: the layer of addiction to drugs, the layer of alcohol addition, the layer of sex addition, the layer of condemnation, the layer of unforgiving, the layer of overeating, the layer of too much shopping, the layer of lying, the layer of adultery, the layer of fornication, and layer of cursing. God wants us to acknowledge our words and actions so that we can begin to transform our viewpoint. He desires us to put on the Spirit of truth, love, encouragement, a sound mind, and freedom! Live in Freedom!
Our Father, we are forever grateful for Your love, kindness and new mercies today. We thank You. We praise You in advance! We honor You just because of who You are! Today Father, I pray that each person recognize his or her heart is the wellspring of life. Father permit them the desire to walk in Your truth and keep their heart pure. I ask You to protect their heart from garbage that creeps in and keep their mind in chaos. Father when the trails come, command them to stand boldly, firmly, and strong with their focus on You, and You alone.
Father, our most Gracious God. I ask that You unattached each person from all relationships that are not ordained of You. Bind all relationships that are not of the Spirit. Abolish all relationships that based on control, domination, or manipulation. In addition, hinder all relationships based on deception.
Father, Your Word says, "I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden Your Word in my heart that I might not sin against You" (Psalms 119:9-11). Father, God free their mind of unhealthy cells, bring to an end ill spoken words with their tongue, take authority over their distressing memories, eliminate the crooked path of their feet, shut evilness from their eyes, halt ungodly things in their ears, close the idleness of their hands, and anything that is distracting them from the focus on Your Marvelous Power.
The Bible says, "The Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edge sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joint, and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12). Father because You understand their innermost thoughts and know all their secrets, command them to live holy and pure before You. Chivalrous God, when they look at their challenges, assist them to seek Your promises in the Word and rejoice for freedom and give You the glory. Command them to walk in Freedom!
I love them Father, but not as much as You do. They are the apples of Your eye! I give You the honor, glory, and praise!
