Excitement!

Have you ever wondered if your thoughts affect your attitude and moods? Yes, it does. What we speak can make or break our day! But when God speaks to us, it's for our good. He knows what will give us joy and what will make us gloomy. When we think on negative thoughts, it affects our attitude and makes us miserable. And usually what happens is when we are unhappy we usually make the people around us miserable.

Let's take inventory on a daily basis and ask ourselves what have we been thinking? One of the biggest problems, we have in this world is negativity. This problem did not just start; it's something that has been around for a long time. Negativity will not only drain you mentally, it will also drain you physically. In the past, I have been around people that label themselves as God's children, and in the nature eye appear to be led by the Spirit, but when it came to real life situations they were extremely depressing. Philippians 4:8 (NKJV), states, "Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy – meditate on these things". We are to take God's Word and renew our mind so that we will not conform to evil habits of this world.

The negative opinion of self and others can cause a significant rebellion among people. We tend to think or respond through our humanity and accept the opinions of others as fact. We must be especially careful when voicing our negative opinions about ourselves and others. What we say may heavily influence the actions of those who trust us. Our mind plays a vital role in our victory. We must realize that it is the power of the Holy Spirit working through the Word of God that will bring victory into our lives. Being extremely careful with whom and how we share our problems, our weaknesses, and our concerns give place for caution because some people do not have the compassion or the capacity to have our best interest.

We are responsible for everything that comes in our mind and out of our mouth. Negativity starts and ends with each one of us. If we are negative, it's our problem. We are responsible to do something about it!

If we change our mind, we can change our life!

Much love,
