The surmountable stressors girls experience in today's time are many: abandonment, rejection, worthless, confusion, emotional and sexual abuse, peer pressure, social media pressures, expectations, and self-esteem.
That Girl is S.M.A.R.T. Mentoring Program is a registered 501(c)(3) organization whose philosophy is to encourage girls and women to be S.M.A.R.T. — Successful, Magnificent, Authentic, Resourceful, and Talented. Our program uses proven strategies, principals, and precepts, which influences and encourages girls and women to reach their full potential, in spite of living the mindless patterns of behavior. Our ultimate goal is to empower these ladies to become self-reliant, self-confident, and self-aware women, who positively impacts our communities and who has determination, vitality, intentionality, and awareness of their lives.
