Heavenly Father, we thank You for this day that You have made for us to rejoice and be glad in it! We pray to You according to Matthew 6:9-13, "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one." Let us forgive other people when they sin against us, so that You, heavenly Father will also forgive us. Father, we honor and adore You. You are Sovereign, Peace, Love, Wonderful Counselor, Gracious, Great and Awesome!
This is the day that we decided to stand in the holy place and see Your face in all that we do. Lord build us up with the power to take authority over everything that comes in our way to take us from Your presence. Father, we will not allow anything to rule over our life today. We know You love us, You hear us, and no weapon that is formed against us will prosper because You have caused us to trample over the enemy. Lord, we will live by the living water that will bring forth fruit in this season. We know that You love us, so we thank You for Your mercies this morning! Today Father, allow us the courage to totally surrender to whatever purpose, and in whatever way You require of us. We are here seeking Your face to be filled with Your grace, refresh us with love, and take our heart and fill it with compassion, kindness, gentleness, and sincerity.
Lord just as You told King Jehoshaphat in his battle, Your Word is telling us that when we are faced or confronted with impossible circumstances, "Do not be afraid or discourage because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God…You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you." Therefore, God, we will continue to trust, pray, and wait upon You. God, we will still shout praises even when we are hemmed in troubles, because we know that we can cast all our cares on You, for You care for us. We have faith to speak and declare to those mountains to be moved. We have faith to declare peace into our lives. We have faith to declare and decree that we shall live and not die.
Father, we thank You that Your Word is knowledge, instruction, and wisdom because of its truths. You promised to impart wisdom to us if we will listen to Your Word. Lord superimpose Your wisdom this morning so that we will be able to discern Your will. You said in Your Word for us to ask for Your wisdom. James 1 says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you". God, Your Word said that there is both strength and wisdom in You. Therefore, this morning God hear and see our heart. We are asking You for wisdom. Would you grant wisdom to us, Your children today? We come boldly to the throne of grace believing Your promises to us that You will give it to us! We thank You for Your exceeding greatness.
We seal this prayer in Jesus' Holy Name, to God be the Glory. Amen!
